Top 5 Tips For Alton Towers/Cbeebiesland Visit...rain or shine!

Puah! I am finally home after completing a road trip with one of my best friends, Amy, and our four-year-old kids. We decided to skip the fuss of birthday parties this year and instead took our kiddos on a little Mummy and Me holiday to Alton Towers and CBeebies Land. Despite dealing with a few rainy days, we had an amazing time. In this blog post, I will share the top five tips for making the most of your visit to Alton Towers and CBeebies Land, regardless of the weather conditions.

Typically, this time of year in May is nothing short of sunshine and warmth, but on our trip, we had to deal with the slight interruption of a few rainy days. However, this did not stop us from enjoying our time spent at both Alton Towers and Cbeebies Land.

Entertainment/Food for the Queues: While waiting in line for rides in CBeebies Land, your little ones will be entertained with interactive toys and games. However, it's helpful to have snacks and water bottles on hand to keep them hydrated and satisfied. Packing healthy options ensures that you're not consuming too much junk food while waiting in line.

Food Experiences: The Rollercoaster Restaurant in Alton Towers is a must-visit. As soon as you enter, you'll be greeted by an energetic atmosphere with loud pop music and coaster tracks zooming above your head, delivering your order to the table. Involving your kids in disposing of the carts and taking them to the collection bins can be a fun task. The restaurant uses a techy iPad ordering system, allowing your order to be taken directly to the kitchen. This saves time and ensures you can enjoy the park instead of waiting for food. Make sure to work up an appetite before visiting!

Dressing for the Weather: In the UK, the weather can be unpredictable, especially in the springtime. Be prepared for rain by dressing in layers and bringing a light rain jacket. Avoid wearing canvas sneakers and opt for supportive trainers instead. Waterproof backpacks are also essential for protecting your belongings. Being prepared will ensure you can enjoy the park comfortably regardless of the weather conditions.

Explore the Whole Park: While CBeebies Land is a popular attraction for tots, there are other exciting areas worth exploring. Mutiny Bay offers a thrilling pirate ship ride, and near Galactica, you'll find a swinging boat. Additionally, there's a zombie shooting ride for the brave ones who meet the height requirement. Take the time to explore the entire park, as there are great attractions for all ages.

Don't Skip the Skyrider: For a unique perspective of the park, don't miss the Skyrider. This relaxing ride allows you to glide across the park suspended above, giving you a sense of the property's scale and the different things you can experience. It's a great way to plan your activities and make the most of your visit. Consider booking a longer stay for your next trip to fully enjoy all that Alton Towers has to offer.

Visiting Alton Towers and CBeebies Land can be an unforgettable experience for the whole family, rain or shine. By following these top five tips, you'll ensure that you make the most of your time at the park. Remember to dress for the weather, explore all the attractions, and indulge in unique dining experiences. Don't forget to share your favourite moments and rides from Alton Towers on Instagram! Happy travels!
